Children turning industrial waste into works of art might seem a little far fetched but that is what Italian Eco Artist Luca Gnizio is coming to Shanghai to do and we want you to help him.
Luca is an Italian artist who works with children and the disabled to build community projects using waste materials from local industry. His work has been acclaimed through Europe as an example of industry working with art to produce socially responsible outcomes.
Arts Can Do is a project of the Australia China Art Foundation that brings art education to the children of migrant workers in Shanghai. Luca is coming to Shanghai to work with the children in our project and we are looking for socially responsible companies to donate materials we can use in our arts program.
If your company has non toxic waste products you could donate we would like to hear from you. Stone, metal, plastics, paper, fabric we will be happy to come and see if Luca will be able to use your waste.
You will be helping provide creative art experiences for disadvantaged children and also benefit from the great publicity Luca's work will receive.
Arts Can Do is really important work, helping children who have little opportunity for schooling have some of the experience of creative art that we take as normal for our own children.
