ACAF hold an auction on 2nd November to support children of Art Can Do in Shanghai.
At James Cohn Gallery Shanghai between 29 Oct - 4 Nov you will have the opportunity to see work by children who have taken part in Arts Can Do programs over the past two years. Also on show will be works by the Australian, Chinese and international artists who have helped the children find their own paths to expression. There will be video works and performance by the children at the exhibition reception on 2 Nov.
Over sixty artists and art lovers attended the first ACAF Art Salon at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beijing. The aim of the Art Salon is to provide a convivial atmosphere for artists and art lovers to meet and discuss arts and culture.
The work of Arts Can Do with the children of migrant workers in China has inspired a number of artists from Europe to volunteer to join the program and work alongside our Australian and Chinese volunteers.
