Then the Wind Changed is a remarkable documentary tracing the aftermath of the Black Saturday fires in February 2007, during which a furious firestorm swept across Victoria. Within weeks of the disaster, Celeste, herself a local resident, resolved to create a film interweaving her own family’s story with those of her neighbours and friends as they struggled to rebuild their lives. The resulting film is a story of heartbreak and love, redemption and resilience.
